Forever Family Community Academy (FFCA) is a community organisation based in the United Kingdom. We operate the website at foreverfamily.space and the related G-Line safeguarding referral service.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect personal data in the following circumstances:

  • Membership applications — name, email address, phone number, city, and the nature of your interest in FFCA.
  • G-Line referrals — your name, the name and situation of the person you are referring, your relationship to them, and the urgency level. This data is sensitive and treated with the highest level of care.
  • Member portal — email address and membership tier used to authenticate portal access.
  • Learning platform — anonymous session identifiers and module test scores (no personal identifiers are required or collected).

3. Why We Collect It (Legal Basis)

  • Membership data — processing is necessary to take steps at your request prior to entering a membership agreement (Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR).
  • G-Line referral data — processing is necessary to protect the vital interests of the individual referred, and is carried out by a not-for-profit body with a safeguarding purpose (Article 6(1)(d) and Article 9(2)(d) UK GDPR).
  • Portal authentication — legitimate interests in verifying membership status (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR).

4. How We Use Your Data

  • To process membership applications and contact you about your application.
  • To act on G-Line safeguarding referrals and connect the referred individual with appropriate support.
  • To provide access to the Member Portal and its tier-appropriate content.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider with servers in the EU. We implement appropriate technical measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure.

G-Line referral data is accessible only to authorised FFCA safeguarding staff.

6. How Long We Keep Your Data

  • Membership applications — retained for the duration of your membership plus 2 years.
  • G-Line referrals — retained for 7 years in accordance with safeguarding best practice.
  • Test scores — retained for 12 months, then deleted.

7. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
  • Erasure — ask us to delete your data (subject to legal obligations).
  • Restriction — ask us to pause processing of your data.
  • Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Object — object to processing based on legitimate interests.

This website does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. We use browser localStorage and sessionStorage solely for session management (portal login state and anonymous learning session IDs). These are not shared with any third party.
